...another day another destiny, this never-ending road to Calvary...
I mean Disney. :)
Today is my last full day in Ohio!! This last week and a half has been filled with reunions and get-togethers with people from high school and college, as a last hurrah. It's been great to see lots of different faces again before I leave.
I'm currently listening to the Les Miserables soundtrack, most specifically the track "One Day More" which is where the introduction to this post came from, for those of you who aren't familiar/fans. A significantly different context, but it seemed, to some extent, appropriate.
I'm throwing the last bits of my stuff together, doing laundry, and generally going through my belongings deciding what else I can fit in the car. My mom and I will be driving down to Florida and I am going to try and tape some of our road trip. I'm very very excited about it; with whatever time I have left after I finish packing, I'm going to go through my iTunes and make a playlist (for sing-a-long purposes) and I'm going to include a lot of Disney (for obvious reasons ;)) but if you have any suggestions, leave a comment!
A lot of other Disney College Program bloggers that I've seen will post some of their favorite aspects of Disney as an introduction, so I thought I might do the same. Here's a rundown of some of my favorites:
Movie: Beauty and the Beast or Mary Poppins
Character: At the moment, Stitch
Princess: Belle or Tiana
Villain: Jafar
Song: Feed the Birds
Park: Magic Kingdom
Ride: Pirates of the Caribbean
Because I'm all about quotes and things, I'll leave you (or leave myself!) with the following. I can't find a direct quote, so this could be someone's paraphrased version:
"When you have come to the edge of all light that you know and are about to drop off into the darkness of the unknown, Faith is knowing one of two things will happen: there will be something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly." (Patrick Overton)
Now, back to packing!
